Jeff Ogborn

Jeff Ogborn, PE has extensive experience in various roles related to emergency preparedness, compliance, standards, engineering, planning, and project management. Jeff has worked at South Jersey Industries since 2009, where they have held positions such as Director of Emergency Preparedness, Manager of Emergency Preparedness, Compliance & Standards, Manager of Engineering, Planning and Standards, and Manager of New Business and Compliance Engineering. In these roles, they have been responsible for managing emergency preparedness plans, ensuring compliance with federal and state codes and regulations, overseeing operational audits, and providing engineering support for construction projects. Prior to their work at South Jersey Industries, Jeff has worked at Blue Mountain Resort as a Race Coach, Dixon Associates Engineering as a Project Manager, Blue Mountain Ski Area as a Race Coach/Ski Instructor, Churchill Consulting Engineers as a Project Manager, and Mount Snow as a Ski Instructor. In these positions, they have gained experience in civil engineering project management, design of transportation projects, utility planning, and permit applications.

Jeff Ogborn, PE, holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Temple University, which they obtained from 1996 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, they have acquired various certifications throughout their career. These certifications include "Aaron Dignan on Transformational Change," "Building Trust," "Leading with Vision," "Setting Business Unit Goals," "Strategic Partnerships," "Strategic Thinking," "The New Age of Risk Management Strategy for Business," "Communication Foundations," "Interpersonal Communication," "Time Management for Busy People," and "Virtual and Hybrid Meeting Essentials." These certifications were obtained in June and May of 2022 through LinkedIn. Prior to these certifications, Jeff obtained the "Level 100 Coach" from the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team in January 2022, "Communicating with Empathy" and "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" in August 2021 through LinkedIn, and "Managing Experienced Managers" in April 2020 through LinkedIn. Furthermore, they hold several coaching certifications including "Level 4 Coach" from USA Hockey, "Registered Gas Distribution Professional" from the Gas Technology Institute, and "Certified Level 3" from the PSIA - AASI Professional Ski Instructors of America - American Association of Snowboard Instructors. Jeff is also a New Jersey Professional Engineer, certified by the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs.
