Matthew U.

Matthew U. has extensive experience in firefighting, emergency medical services, and safety compliance. Currently serving as a Firefighter/EMT at South Kitsap Fire and Rescue since November 2021, Matthew previously held the same position with Navy Region Northwest from January 2019 to November 2021. Prior to that, Matthew was the Director of Compliance and Safety at Legacy Telecommunications Inc. from July 2015 to January 2019, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with various safety regulations and conducting safety training. Matthew's career also includes a role as Training Supervisor at Gravitec Systems Inc., managing fall protection and rescue training programs for diverse clients. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety from Eastern Kentucky University.
