Kareen Borders

Kareen Borders has extensive experience in STEM education and outreach. From 2017 to the present, they have held the role of Executive Director of STEM Instruction and Outreach, as well as Executive Director of the West Sound STEM Network, at the South Kitsap School District. Prior to this, from 2014 to 2017, they served as the Director of STEM Programs and Outreach at the Olympic Educational Service District 114.

Kareen Borders obtained a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Washington, which they completed between 2008 and 2012. Additionally, they hold a Master's Degree in Education from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
