Christopher Leese has a diverse work experience in the education and coaching field. Starting in 1995, they worked as a 7th-grade science teacher and assistant wrestling coach at Mechanicsburg Area School District. Christopher then moved on to Big Spring School District as a long-term substitute science teacher and assistant wrestling coach. From 1998 to 1999, they worked at Person County School District as a 7th-grade physical science teacher and head junior high wrestling and soccer coach.
In 1999, Christopher joined Gettysburg Area School District as an 8th-grade science teacher, assistant varsity/head JV soccer coach, and assistant varsity wrestling coach. Christopher stayed there until 2005 when they transitioned to South Middleton School District. At South Middleton, they served as a 7th/8th-grade science teacher, team leader of the Split team, and assistant varsity/head JV soccer coach. Christopher also took over as the head junior high soccer coach. Additionally, they worked as an assistant high school soccer coach and head junior varsity coach.
In 2001, Christopher briefly worked as an assistant wrestling coach at Shippensburg University before joining Fairfield Area School District in 2002 as the head wrestling coach for both the junior high and high school levels.
In 2004, they worked as the head wrestling coach at Carlisle Area School District before moving to Penn State Mont Alto in 2016. At Penn State Mont Alto, Christopher became the head wrestling coach of a National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA) program, where they were responsible for teaching technique, conditioning, recruiting, fundraising, and managing the budget.
Currently, Christopher is working as an assistant wrestling coach at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, starting in 2022.
Christopher Leese earned their high school diploma from Boiling Springs High School in 1990, where they pursued a college preparatory field of study. Christopher then went on to attend Kutztown University of Pennsylvania from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on General Science. In terms of additional certifications, Christopher obtained a Copper Certified Coach certification from USA Wrestling in July 1999, followed by a Bronze Certified Coach certification in June 2001. Christopher later achieved a Master's equivalency from the Pa. Department of Education in August 2006. More recently, they became CPR & 1st Aid certified through the Red Cross Blood Services in April 2022, and they obtained a Teal Certified coach certification from USA Wrestling in August 2023.
