Reynaldo D. Rodriguez

Reynaldo D. Rodriguez, Ed.D. has extensive work experience in the field of education. Reynaldo D. is currently serving as the Rising Scholars Academy Principal at South Texas ISD since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Ed Downs Fine Arts Academy Principal at San Benito CISD from 2020 to 2022. Reynaldo D. also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Wayland Baptist University from 2017 to 2021. Additionally, Reynaldo served as the Los Fresnos United Assistant Principal at LOS FRESNOS CISD from 2017 to 2020. Reynaldo D. started their career as a Teacher at South Texas ISD in 2016 and then moved on to become a Teacher at Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District in 2015. Before that, they worked as a Teacher/Coach at SAN BENITO CONSOLIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT from 2012 to 2015. Reynaldo began their career in education as a Graduate Assistant at Stephen F. Austin State University from 2009 to 2010.

Reynaldo D. Rodriguez, Ed.D. has a diverse education history. Reynaldo D. obtained their Superintendent Certification from Lamar University in 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree with a focus on Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2021. In 2015, they completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Educational Leadership at The University of Texas Permian Basin. In 2010, they obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University. Finally, in 2008, they graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Exercise Science. In addition to these academic achievements, Reynaldo D. Rodriguez, Ed.D. also holds several certifications, including English as a Second Language Supplemental, Principal, School Superintendent, and Texas Educator License Generalist 4-8.
