Carol Hawkins-Garcia

Carol Hawkins-Garcia has extensive experience in nursing and healthcare leadership, currently serving as a Member of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing and as a Board Member representing RN Practice for the Texas Board of Nursing. In addition, Carol holds the position of Clinical Educator at South Texas Spine & Surgical Hospital and serves as an Adjunct Professor at Austin Community College. Previous roles include Assistant Professor at Coastal Bend College, Staff Registered Nurse at University Health, Manager of Physician Performance Improvement at Methodist Healthcare System, and Clinical Nurse Coordinator at CHRISTUS Health. Carol's educational background includes a Master of Bioethics from Harvard Medical School, an IE Brown Executive MBA from both Brown University and IE Business School, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
