Jeff McCarthy

Jeff McCarthy has over 20 years of diverse experience in fire safety and motorcycle training. Currently serving as a Business Fire Safety professional at South Wales Fire and Rescue Service since April 2000, Jeff has a strong background in fire safety audits, compliance with the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order, and conducting comprehensive fire risk assessments. Additionally, Jeff holds the title of Watch Manager at the Fire and Rescue Service, specializing in operational management, community safety, and risk assessments. Since January 2005, Jeff has also been a motorcycle instructor, providing training from CBT to advanced levels and serving as a Bikesafe observer. Jeff's educational credentials include a PGCE and a BASc in Fire Engineering, complemented by numerous additional qualifications related to safety and leadership.
