Jedda Malone

Jedda Malone is an accomplished professional in the mining industry with extensive experience in leadership and operations management. Currently serving as General Manager Operations at South32 since April 2018, Jedda oversees various aspects of Mining, Operations Engineering, and Ore Processing, driving the achievement of Key Performance Indicators and negotiating major contracts. Previous roles include Operations Manager Mining and Technical Services Manager at Newcrest Mining, where Jedda specialized in material risk management and mine planning. In earlier positions at MMG Limited, strengths in engineering, project management, and budget control were demonstrated while supervising engineering teams and executing significant mine closure projects. Jedda holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Geological from RMIT University and a Graduate Diploma of Mining from Federation University Australia.
