Katharine Koh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commodity marketing and market analysis. Currently serving as the Commodity Marketing Manager at South32 since October 2016, Katharine oversees manganese ore for China and Southeast Asia, as well as lead/zinc concentrates and ferronickel. Previously, Katharine held positions as Principal Market Analyst and Senior Market Analyst at South32, focusing on various industries including steel, automotive, electric vehicles, batteries, and several metals. Prior to South32, Katharine was the Shipping Research Director at both McQuilling Brokerage Partners and Island Shipbrokers, and served as AVP of Credit and Research at Mizuho. Katharine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Statistics, Probability, and Financial Economics from the National University of Singapore.
