Head Of Design And Brand at Southbank Centre

Marc Atkinson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the design and creative industry. Marc is currently serving as the Head of Design and Brand at Southbank Centre since March 2022. Prior to this, Marc worked as a Design / Creative Director from December 2021 to March 2022. Marc is also the Co-Founder & Creative Director of Land of Plenty, a brand and design consultancy, from November 2016 to October 2021. Before that, they founded their own creative design practice, by March, and served as the Founder & Creative Director from February 2014 to October 2016. Marc's earlier career includes working as a Designer at The Chase Creative Consultants from March 2002 to March 2005, completing a work placement at FITCH from January 2002 to February 2002, and interning at Amp Associates from September 2001 to October 2001. Throughout their career, Marc has collaborated and worked with various notable clients in different sectors, demonstrating their expertise and versatility in design communication, creative direction, and identity design.

Marc Atkinson attended Rushcliffe Comprehensive from 1990 to 1997, where they obtained 10 GCSEs and 4 A Levels. Following that, they attended NCN Clarendon in Nottingham from 1997 to 1998, completing a Foundation in Art & Design. Finally, Marc Atkinson studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design from 1998 to 2001, graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design.
