Jason Dale

Jason Dale currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at KiwiRail, a position held since October 2023. Additionally, Jason has been the Chairperson at CrestClean Commercial Cleaning and Southbase Construction since 2017 and February 2022, respectively. Jason's professional qualifications include being a Fellow at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, where Jason also holds the position of Head of Education. As a Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Ravensdown since September 2014, and previously as Chief Commercial and Financial Officer for New Zealand & Pacific Islands at New Zealand Steel until October 2023, Jason has extensive experience in financial leadership. Previous roles include CFO at EROAD, Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Taranaki Investments Management Limited, Trustee at CEDA, and Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Livestock Improvement Corporation. Jason holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from The University of Auckland and has completed the AVIRA program at INSEAD in 2015.
