Jessica Whitaker

Jessica Whitaker has over 10 years of work experience in various roles related to behavioral health and administrative operations. Jessica currently works at SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) as the Behavioral Health Administrative Operations Manager, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to this role, they were the Behavioral Health Administrative Supervisor and Executive Assistant to the Director of BH at SEARHC since September 2011. In addition, Jessica was the Behavioral Health Office Manager at Alaska Island Community Services from September 2011 to April 2017. Jessica also has experience in the banking industry, having worked at Wells Fargo from April 2008 to August 2011, where they started as a Teller and was later promoted to Service Manager. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks, including processing transactions, opening accounts, reviewing customer accounts, records retention and verification, and overseeing filing of paperwork.

Jessica Whitaker's education history begins with their high school graduation from Wrangell High School in 2003. After completing high school, they attended the University of Alaska Southeast from 2004-2004, where they focused on Elementary Education and Teaching. However, it is unclear if they obtained a degree in this field.

Jessica then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Alaska Southeast from 2021-2024. In addition to their BBA, they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the same institution in 2022.

In terms of additional certifications, Jessica earned certifications in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in May 2021, Notary Public from the State of Alaska in December 2016, Certified Application Counselor from the Affordable Care Act in September 2013, and Professional Administrative Certification of Excellence from the American Society of Administrative Professionals in February 2020.
