Maria E Gonzalez is an experienced human resources professional with a robust background in talent acquisition and employee relations. Currently serving as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Southeast Georgia Health System since January 2023, Maria previously held the role of Human Resources Manager at the College of Coastal Georgia from October 2020 to January 2023. Prior experience includes extensive tenure at Sea Island Company, where responsibilities ranged from full-cycle recruitment and benefits administration to employee relations. Maria’s early career included an internship with The Walt Disney Company as part of the Disney College Program. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University.
