Daily Hospital Operations:
• Ensure hospital operations are achieved and in line with company objectives
• Ensure hospital is staffed with individuals who share practice values and are capable of
achieving practice objectives
• Ensure all team members are trained in all relevant processes and standards of care to be
able to meet their clinical and non-clinical objectives
• Ensure practice is open on time and adequately and appropriately staffed for optimal care
according to patient caseload
• Perform weekly ordering for all areas of the hospital
• Meet with distributors and sales representatives as needed
• Ensure practice meets all of its legal and moral obligations
Human Resources:
• Identify staffing voids and develop a plan of action to fill any voids
• Onboarding new hires
• Team member check-ins and annual performance reviews
• Maintenance of team member work schedule
• Maintenance of HR platform for the following:
• Benefits, PTO, Sick Time, and Continuing Education hours, Payroll
• Prepare quarterly production statements for neurologist
• Ensure team member training and development is adequate for role
• Monitor team member sick days and tardiness - address as needed
• Address and mediate any internal disputes between team members - document as needed
• Maintain confidential team member records
• File and manage any workers compensation claims
Client and rDVM Relations:
• Build on existing strategies to improve and increase new clients and patients
• Explore and promote community outreach programs
• Manage practice promotional items
- Business Cards, marketing collateral, promotional items
• Ensure client experience and journey is at the highest level of the SEVN standard
• Track complaints, and address client complaints as needed
• Obtain and report client feedback on service
Metrics and Reporting:
• Update spreadsheets and provide monthly reports on KPIs
• Oversight of accuracy of controlled substance logs
• Maintain appropriate medical record system
