James F. Smith Jr. (J.R.)

James (J.R.) F. Smith Jr. has extensive experience in various roles across multiple industries. Currently serving at Southeastern Construction since October 2014, James has held the positions of Field Services Purchasing Agent, Rental/Fleet Manager, and Purchasing Manager. Prior to this, James was a City Council Member and City Council Chairman for the City of Center Hill from January 2004 to December 2014. Additionally, James worked as Communications Director at Changes Worldwide, focusing on video editing, field communications, and graphic design from January 2014 to September 2014. Previous experience includes a role in Production Control at Data Graphics Inc from April 2012 to January 2014 and serving as a Mobile Subscriber Equipment Operator in the United States Army from October 1989 to March 1997. James earned a diploma from South Sumter High School, graduating in 1988.
