Susana Pedroso

Susana Pedroso is an accomplished professional in the fields of costume design, curriculum leadership, and community learning, currently serving as the Curriculum Leader for Community Learning & Commercial Programmes at Southend Adult Community College since September 2014. With a rich background in costume design, Pedroso has contributed to numerous theater productions as a Costume Designer and has mentored costume design projects at East 15 Acting School. Additionally, experience includes roles as a Programme Manager for Community Learning and Coordinator for Creative & Cultural Provision. Education includes a Ph.D. in Costume Design and Semiotics from Universitat Politècnica de València, a Post-Graduate degree in Theatre Studies from Faculdade de Letras de Lisboa, and a Bachelor's and Licentiate Degree in Scenic Design from Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema. Pedroso has also engaged in set design, prop making, and lecturing in costume design, showcasing a diverse skill set in the arts and education.
