Kiara London Bailey

Kiara London Bailey has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Kiara London started their professional career as an Apprentice at Drake Realty Group, LLC in 2008. Later, they worked as an Assistant Manager at Atlanta King Pits Kennel from 2008 to 2012. In 2013, they held the role of a Wildlife Intern at Chattahoochee Nature Center, where they cared for and treated various species of animals.

From 2014 to 2016, Kiara worked at The University of Georgia, first as a Senior Thesis researcher, conducting a study on coyotes, and later as a Warnell Student Ambassador representing the school. In 2015, they also interned at USDA-APHIS-Wildlife Services, where they assisted with wildlife management programs.

In 2017, Kiara joined the Chicago Botanic Garden as a Conservation Land Management Intern, gaining experience in GIS data editing and analysis.

Currently, Kiara is working at Southern Company Gas, where they have held various roles since 2018. Kiara London started as a GIS Technician and later became a GIS Specialist II. In 2021, they transitioned to a Process Coordinator role, where they provided instruction and support for GIS integration projects. Currently, they are a Business Process Lead overseeing vendor sprint teams and prioritizing business processes for documentation.

Kiara London Bailey received a Bachelor's Degree in Fisheries and Wildlife with an emphasis on Wildlife Ecology and a minor in Ecology from The University of Georgia. In addition, they obtained several certifications including HSI Adult First Aid | CPR AED Adult - DC Class from HSI in 2023, ArcGIS Basics of Python and Basics of Java Web Script from Esri in 2017, and Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2022.
