Nitin Datt

Nitin Datt has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Chief Counsel at Southern Company Gas since January 2017, having previously held titles of Senior Counsel and Counsel within the same organization. At Holland & Knight LLP from November 2013 to January 2017, Nitin Datt represented clients in commercial real estate transactions, specializing in telecommunications infrastructure agreements. Prior experience includes working as an Associate Attorney at the Law Office of James J. Gay, focusing on commercial transactional drafting and litigation, as well as serving as a Legal Consultant in mergers and acquisitions at Press Ganey and Associates. Nitin Datt began the legal career as a Research Assistant at DePaul University College of Law and completed a legal internship with the Chicago Board of Education. Nitin Datt holds a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Northern Illinois University.
