Paul Hughes

Paul Hughes is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Generation Policy Manager at Southern Company since August 2007. With a strong background in risk operations and financial program hedging, Paul has effectively managed multiple natural gas hedging programs during volatile market conditions. Prior to Southern Company, Paul held the position of Vice-President at e-Systems.net, focusing on business development and process improvement, and was instrumental in launching a new enterprise gas management system. Additionally, Paul served as Vice-President at El Paso Merchant Energy, emphasizing new business initiatives within the Global Liquefied Natural Gas initiative.
