Matthew Carter is a seasoned legal and compliance professional currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Compliance & Ethics at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits since October 2023, where responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance strategy. Prior to this role, Matthew held various positions at Walmart from January 2011 to October 2023, including Senior Director II, Deputy Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer, where Matthew led an efficient global compliance program, and Associate General Counsel for multiple litigation groups.
