Fred Garrett

Fred Garrett has over 20 years of work experience in the construction industry. Fred began their career as the Owner/President of Fred T. Garrett Construction from 1997 to 2001. Fred then worked as a Project Manager at Sweetwater Construction, where they successfully directed projects in the public, education, and private sectors. In 2001, they joined Titan Construction as a Project Manager, overseeing concept-to-completion details for various development projects. Fred later joined Bayley Construction as a Project Executive, where they directed all aspects of daily operations on a range of projects. Since 2014, Fred has been working at Southern Land Company, first as a Senior Project Manager and currently as the Vice President. In this role, they manage multi-family construction projects across the country, including completed projects and projects in development.

Fred Garrett has pursued their education and obtained various certifications throughout their career. Specifically, they have an Associate Design Build Professional degree from the Design Build Institute of America. Fred also holds a Construction Management Certificate from the Gold Coast School of Construction. Additionally, Fred is a Design-Build Institute of America Member through the Project Management Institute and Design. Fred has also obtained certifications such as Project Manager Certification from Procore Technologies and Procore Certified: Associate. Furthermore, Fred is a Florida Licensed General Contractor. Fred has additional certifications in different fields, including Fossil Maintenance Mechanic Certificate, Ironworker Journeyman, Nuclear Maintenance Mechanic Certificate, OSHA 30, Scaffold User, and Sheet Metal Journeyman-Foreman.
