Katelyn Throop

Katelyn Throop is a dedicated marketing professional currently serving as the Social Media Chair for Women In Business at Grand Valley State University since May 2024. With extensive experience at Southern Michigan Bank & Trust, Katelyn has held multiple roles including Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator, and Bank Teller since June 2020. Katelyn also contributed as a Tutor and Teacher's Assistant at Jackson College from September 2022 to May 2023 and worked in customer service at Toasted Mud from June 2017 to August 2020. Katelyn is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing at Grand Valley State University, expected to graduate in May 2025, following a previous degree in the same field from Jackson College. Katelyn completed secondary education at Hillsdale High School in 2020.
