Adam Gerhart

Adam Gerhart is an experienced power system operator currently employed at Southern Minnesota Municipal Power Agency since May 2019, where responsibilities include collaborating with the MISO Regional Reliability Coordinator to manage system operating limits and restore infrastructure during disruptions. Prior to this role, Adam served as a lead installer at USA Security and held managerial positions at Lowe's Companies, Inc. and Home Depot, focusing on strategic sales planning and employee training. Earlier experience includes working as a senior field technician at Lockheed Martin, where Adam played a key role in developing and installing the En Route Automation Modernization system for the FAA, and serving as a specialty assistant store manager. Adam's educational background includes an industrial certification from Chattanooga State Community College and ongoing studies for an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Electrical Transmission System Operations at Bismarck State College.
