Alida Weidensee holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With extensive experience in legal services, Alida currently serves as a Saeks Fellow at Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, Inc. Previously, Alida held positions as a Cooper Fellow at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, a Legal Intern at Standpoint (MN), and a Judicial Extern at the US District Court. Earlier roles include a Summer Law Clerk at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid and a Paralegal at The Law Office of Layde & Parra SC. Alida has also interned with Wisconsin State Senator Lena Taylor, addressing constituent concerns, and worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional in the Oregon School District. Additionally, Alida's experience in translation and communication developed while interning at The Latino Academy of Workforce Development has complemented their legal career.
