Supervising Attorney For Immigration Practice Group at Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, Inc.

Lisa Salazar currently serves as the Supervising Attorney for the Immigration Practice Group at Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, Inc., where supervision of paralegals and BIA accredited representatives occurs. Prior experience includes roles as Staff Attorney, Associate Attorney, and Legal Assistant at Guzior Armbrecht Maher, where responsibilities encompassed legal filing preparation, client relations, Spanish interpreting, and event planning. Lisa also held the position of Executive Assistant at the State of Minnesota, contributing to both the Office of State Auditor and the Department of Employee Relations. Additionally, as Executive Director of the Minnesota Excellence in Public Service Series, Lisa played a pivotal role in founding the organization and facilitating leadership training for conservative women in politics. Educationally, Lisa obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Relations from Bethel University.
