Brian Penner

Brian Penner brings extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as General Manager of Performance & Reliability at Southern Power since August 2018, overseeing the Renewable's Remote Operations Center and the Southern Power Fleet Monitoring and Diagnostics Center. Prior to this role, Brian was the Owner of Orion Portfolio Solutions, LLC, and held key operational leadership positions at Panasonic, First Solar, Stirling Energy Systems, and Tessera Solar, ranging from Director of Operations and Maintenance to various managerial roles in power plant operations and electrical maintenance. Brian began a career in the technical field as a Gas Turbine Electrical Technician with the US Navy, which laid the groundwork for a successful trajectory in energy management and operations.
