Josh Hale

Josh Hale is an experienced professional in the energy sector with a strong background in commercial services and optimization. Currently serving as a Commercial Services Manager and previously as a Commercial Optimization & Trading Manager at Southern Power since June 2016, Josh oversees a team focused on asset optimization, contract management, power trading, and market policy. Prior to this, Josh held various roles at Southern Company from July 2007 to June 2016, including Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer and Energy Analysis Manager, demonstrating expertise in financial performance analysis and procurement strategies. Josh began their career at Alabama Power Company, where roles included Rate Specialist and Market Specialist. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
