Matt Hewitt

Matt Hewitt has extensive experience in project management and health and safety coordination, currently serving as a Project Manager at Southern Refractories since July 2016. Prior to this role, Matt worked as a Safety Manager at Southern Refractories Inc from June 2016 to November 2022 and as an ISO/Safety Coordinator at CONECSUS from February 2013 to November 2022, overseeing health and safety operations across multiple locations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Matt began a career in environmental health and safety as an EHS Facilitator at ECS Refining from June 2009 to February 2013. Educationally, Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Mount Aloysius College, completing studies in 2009, after obtaining a high school diploma from Blair County Christian School in 2005.
