Nikia Pinson Lmsw

Nikia Pinson, LMSW, currently serves as a Mental Health Therapist at the Eating Disorders Recovery Center of Athens since May 2023 and was previously a Mental Health Therapist at Georgia HOPE from March 2022 to May 2023. Nikia is also a Doctoral Fellow in the SREB Doctoral Scholars Fellowship Program since August 2022 and has held roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Georgia since January 2020. With extensive experience in mental health therapy, including an MSW internship at Southeastern Psychological Associates, Inc., multiple research assistantships, and a role as a Supermom since 2005, Nikia possesses a strong foundation in both clinical practice and family dynamics. Educational credentials include ongoing doctoral studies in Human Development and Family Science and previous degrees in Social Work and Health Psychology from the University of Georgia and Greenville University, respectively.
