Valerie Johnson

Valerie Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in biology and quality control, currently serving as a Quality Control Analyst at Southern Research Institute since March 2010. With a foundational role in the program management committee, Valerie focuses on enhancing quality management processes, interpreting test results, and revising standard operating procedures. Prior to this, Valerie held positions as Senior Biologist and Supervisor, overseeing teams in the propagation and testing of infectious diseases and managing daily operations for GLP-regulated laboratories. Valerie's career began with various roles in laboratory management and research assistance, including significant contributions to studies involving highly pathogenic avian influenza and transgenic mouse lines at esteemed institutions such as the National Cancer Institute and Baylor College of Medicine. Valerie holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Alabama.
