Jonathan Howard

Jonathan was born in Memphis, TN and raised in Staten Island, NY. He attended and obtained his Master’s in Business and Marketing Management from NYU and has a BA in Interior and Graphic Design from the Art Institute of NY. Upon graduation he worked for NYPD for 5 years as a criminal analyst before realizing this wasn’t his passion. After leaving the NYPD, he relocated to Mississippi and joined the restaurant management training program with Wendy’s. Starting out as an Assistant manager, he quickly moved up the ranks to a traveling General Management position. After several years of success repairing and applying standards for different Wendy’s locations across Northeast MS, he decided to join the McAlister’s team in October of 2016. Starting out as an Assistant Manager of the Tupelo, MS, his hard work and dedication earned him a promotion to the General Manager role in Starkville, MS. Applying standards and working with the community he continued to excel in this role and eventually relocated and took on the role as the Area Director for the Chattanooga, TN market. He has made a home with the Southern Rock Team and loves the brand with a passion for guest satisfaction. Training and developing rock stars for the company is what he loves to do.

When he is not hard at work Jonathan enjoys spending time with his husband, their 3 Boston Terriers (Maxine, Mac, Gizmo) and their rescue Border Collie (Fiona). You can find them by the lake or on the hiking trails in the mountains of TN.
