Charles Clayton

Charles Clayton possesses extensive experience in education and training within the energy sector and beyond. As an Energy Systems Technology Instructor at Southern Virginia Higher Education Center since January 2020, Charles has contributed to shaping the next generation of professionals in energy systems. Concurrently, Charles has served as Training Manager at Suzlon Wind Energy A/S since January 2008, overseeing training initiatives in wind energy. Prior experience includes a role in Quality Control at Symvionics Inc from September 2001 to December 2007, and notable service in the United States Marine Corps from 1992 to 2001 as Curriculum Manager for the ATC Maintenance School. Educational qualifications include studies at Elon University from 1979 to 1981 and an Associate of Applied Science in Police Science from Wake Technical Community College, earned between 1974 and 1976.
