Shaun Plenty

Shaun Plenty is a highly experienced aquatic ecologist currently serving as Principal Aquatic Ecologist at Southern Water since July 2023. With a strong background in education and training, Shaun has been a tutor and trainer at the Institute of Fisheries Management since September 2018, responsible for delivering the Environmental Management module and conducting workshops for fisheries managers in southern England. Shaun's previous roles include Aquatic Ecology Manager at Adler & Allan and Principal Aquatic Ecologist at SLR Consulting, along with significant positions at WSP, Thomson Ecology Ltd, and Teleost Consulting. Shaun holds a PhD in Aquatic Ecology from the University of the West of England, an MSc in Oceanography from the University of Southampton, and a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Brighton.
