Mark Woods

Mark Woods has a diverse work experience, with a focus on leadership and lending in the banking industry. Mark is currently the Executive Vice President at SouthPoint Bank, where they have been since 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Executive Director Government Guaranteed Lending at the same bank, starting in 2020. Mark has held various senior positions at different banks, including United Community Bank, Valley Bank, USAmeriBank, The Southern Bank Company, and Compass Bank. Mark also worked as a Senior Account Manager at BELLSOUTH TELECOMMUNICATIONS INC from 1996 to 2008. Throughout their career, they have consistently achieved results and demonstrated success in securing key clients and increasing sales production in highly competitive markets.

Mark Woods completed their high school education at Homewood High School from 1984 to 1987. Following this, they attended the University of Alabama from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Pre Law / Business.
