Patti Appleton

Patti Appleton serves as the SVP and Director of IT Governance & Strategy at SouthState Bank since July 2014, bringing extensive experience in business process management and operational risk from previous roles as VP at the same institution and as Operational Risk Manager at TD from February 2011 to July 2014. Patti also held positions at The South Financial Group as Director of Transaction Services and ATM Systems Manager, and began a career at Star Systems, Inc. as Installation Manager, after starting as a Business Analyst at Dun and Bradstreet. Patti holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Language and Business from Clemson University, completed between 1989 and 1993.
