Craig Gibson

Craig Gibson is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in operations and project management across various sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Crew Operations, Technology at Southwest Airlines since July 2022, Gibson previously held significant roles at USAA from February 2015 to July 2022, including IT Director for Property and Casualty Claims Modernization, where Gibson led a $75 million modernization project. Earlier experience at Southwest Airlines includes Sr. Technology Manager for the Customer Service Development Team, achieving a $6 million telephony platform upgrade. Gibson's career began in the United States Army Reserve, where Craig served as a Staff Sergeant. A graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Gibson combines technical expertise with leadership skills to drive substantial organizational advancements.
