Matt Nelson

Matt Nelson is an experienced tax professional with a strong background in management and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as Tax Manager - General and Regulatory at Southwest Gas Corporation since May 2015, Matt has held several key positions, including Tax Manager at Kern River Gas Transmission and Tax Manager at ON Semiconductor. Prior to these roles, Matt was Vice President of Tax and Accounting Services at Advantage Plus Service Group and gained foundational expertise as a Tax Manager at Galusha, Higgins, & Galusha, P.C. and a Manager at Arthur Andersen LLP. Matt Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Arizona State University and an Associate's degree in General Studies from Ricks College.
