Dr. Dayvon McCarrell

Dr. Dayvon McCarrell currently serves as the Manager of Research and Development at Southwest Research Institute, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this, Dr. McCarrell worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton from February 2021 to July 2023, and served as the Aerospace Engineering and Technology Department Chair at Rose State College for over eleven years, focusing on Engineering Technology Training. From March 1998 to July 2023, Dr. McCarrell was a Lean Consultant in the United States Air Force, specializing in efficiency and cost savings. Additional experience includes roles as a Senior Systems Engineer at Boeing and Deputy Civil Engineer at 552 ACW/CE Tinker AFB, where responsibilities involved operations and maintenance engineering. Dr. McCarrell's educational background includes a Doctorate of Business Management from Argosy University, a Master’s degree in Engineering and Technology Management from Oklahoma State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
