Katherine Brunty has over 30 years of experience in social services and education, currently serving as an Office Assistant for HS/EHS Education, Disabilities, Health & Mental Health at Southwestern Community Action Council, Inc. since January 2014. In this role, Katherine handles office tasks, data processing, and phone communications. Previously, from September 1990 to August 2008, Katherine worked as a Home Visitor and Social Service Staff for the Expectant Mom's Program within Early Head Start, providing education to pregnant women through weekly visits. Additionally, Katherine held the position of Family Service Worker, managing enrollment processes for Head Start and Early Head Start programs, with responsibility for enrolling 20 to 45 families each school year. Katherine holds an Associate in Applied Science in Occupational Development with a focus on Social Work from Marshall University, earned between 1991 and 2005.
