Cole Barron

Cole Barron is a highly experienced drilling engineer with a robust background in drilling operations across various regions. Currently serving as a Staff Drilling Engineer at Southwestern Energy since January 2022, Cole oversees extensive drilling operations in Haynesville and has successfully managed operations in the Utica Basin and Northeast Pennsylvania. Prior experience includes leading drilling operations at ExxonMobil where Cole delivered multiple complex wells and implemented significant cost-saving measures, as well as serving as a Staff Drilling Engineer at Occidental, where Cole developed innovative drilling analysis tools and achieved substantial savings through design modifications. Cole holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
