Rachel Barnes

Rachel Barnes has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently working at Southwestern Energy since August 2012. In their roles as Senior Internal Auditor, Senior Property Accountant, and Inventory Accountant, Rachel manages inventory accounting activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and inventory analysis. Additionally, Rachel oversees non-operated Joint Interest Billing (JIB) accounting. Prior to their current role, Rachel worked as a Financial Examiner at the Texas Department of Banking where Rachel audited trust accounts, reconciled financial statements, and analyzed contracts for compliance. Rachel holds a BBA in Finance, Banking, and Accounting from Sam Houston State University.
