Zicheng Sun

Zicheng Sun is an accomplished Project Engineer with extensive experience in the design and development of mechatronic and electromechanical systems. Currently employed at Sovereign Technologies LLC since May 2021, Zicheng updates system infrastructure and collaborates with cross-functional teams to validate technical specifications. Simultaneously, Zicheng has been with EASi since April 2015, gathering product requirements, managing configuration controls with tools like Clearcase and Git, and performing functional testing to ensure systems meet performance specifications. Previous roles include a Controls Engineer position at KPIT, where Zicheng developed embedded software for diesel engines using Matlab Simulink, and a Controls Engineering Intern role at SHENZHEN SHENLAN JINGJI CO.,LTD, focusing on PLC programming and CNC machine assembly. Zicheng holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Shenzhen University, along with a Self-Driving Car Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity.
