Byron O'Dell serves as Vice President of Digital Marketing, Technology, and Analytics at S&P Global since March 2022, where O'Dell leads a team of 55 in refining marketing technology and innovation for the post-merger firm. Prior to this role, O'Dell held various leadership positions at IHS Markit from 2011 to March 2022, including Vice President of Marketing and Executive Director & Head of Corporate Marketing, contributing to significant growth from $1.6 billion to $5 billion over nine years. O'Dell has also been recognized with Oracle's 2015 Marketing Markie award and “Best in Show” by Marketing Sherpa in 2014. Earlier experience includes Head of Marketing for the Americas at IMI Precision Engineering, driving substantial revenue increases. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MBA in Business/Commerce with a focus on Marketing from Regis University.
