Irina Breilean

Irina Breilean is an accomplished journalist with a focus on energy and carbon markets. Currently serving as a Carbon Market Reporter at S&P Global since September 2024, Breilean previously held the position of Energy Market Reporter at ICIS from February 2023 to August 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Freelance Journalist for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and an intern within the same organization from April 2021 to February 2023. Additionally, Breilean contributed as a Research Team Member at the Bentham Brooks Institute from November 2020 to March 2021. Breilean holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics, Sociology, and East European Studies from UCL SSEES, completed in 2022.
