Alissa Bayer is the founder of Spa Partisan, a luxury spa and salon in Austin, Texas. Alissa has over fifteen years of experience in the beauty and wellness industry, and is a certified aesthetician and massage therapist.
Bayer began their career as an MBA student at the McCombs School of Business, where they consulted with incubating companies and helped to develop and fine-tune their business models. Alissa also initiated and managed ATI's brand management position, helping to update their marketing collateral and increase their presence in the Austin community.
In 2003, Bayer became a venture fellow at G-51 Capital Management, where they helped to invest in early-stage companies. Alissa also served as the executive director of the Princeton Review, where they were responsible for counseling students on their academic and career options.
In 2009, Bayer founded Spa Partisan, a luxury spa that offers a variety of services such as massages, facials, waxing, and nail care. The company has been recognized by Austin Monthly as one of the best spas in Austin, and has been featured in Forbes, Elle, and Vogue.
Alissa Bayer obtained their BA from The George Washington University in English and Philosophy. Alissa then went on to obtain their MBA from the Texas McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Management.
