Alex Lovinger, MBA PMP, has a diverse work experience in program management and military operations analysis. Alex began their career as a Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy, serving from May 2010 to June 2018.
In 2018, Alex joined Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. as a Military Operations Analyst 3, where they worked until January 2020. Alex then took on the role of Assistant Program Manager from March 2019 to September 2021. During this time, they provided support for PEO IWS C, X, 1.0, and 4 and also contributed to DDG(X) requirements development.
Alex then transitioned to the role of Military Operations Analyst 4 from January 2020 to September 2021, where they specialized in strategic planning support for the Aegis Weapons System Systems Engineering. Currently, they hold the position of Program Manager for PEO IWS 1.0 Aegis Weapons System Systems Engineering and continues to provide valuable leadership and expertise in this role.
Alex Lovinger obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General from the University of Arizona, where they attended from 2006 to 2010. They later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General at Old Dominion University from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, Alex Lovinger obtained certifications as a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from ASQ - World Headquarters in February 2018, and as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in July 2019.
