Glenn Selser has a diverse work experience starting with their role as a Combat Medic in the Army Healthcare from 1987 to 1990. Glenn then worked as a Lab Technician at the National Marrow Donor Program from 1991 to 1997. Following this, they joined Systems Planning and Analysis (SPA) in 2001 as a Network Admin and End User Support, where they were responsible for component replacement, testing, and call center tasks. In 2007, they became a Network Security Administrator at SPA, supervising both classified and unclassified networks, and researching new IA techniques and policies for the company and its clients.
Glenn Selser completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from George Mason University, where they attended from 1992 to 1996. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Assurance from the University of Maryland Global Campus, graduating between 2004 and 2007. Additionally, Glenn has obtained several certifications, including GIAC Security Essentials from the SANS Institute in June 2010, GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst in August 2009, GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst in September 2016, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in December 2010.
