Jim Abbiati

Jim Abbiati has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Jim started their career at Electric Boat as a Software Engineer in 1993 and worked there until 2003. Jim then joined AMSEC Corp as a Senior Software Engineer from 2003 to 2007. In 2007, Jim worked at Pfizer as a Project Manager for a short period. Following that, they were employed at SAIC as a SOA Data Messaging Architect from 2007 to 2014. After SAIC, they worked at ActioNet, Inc. in the same role from 2014 to 2019. Later on, Jim worked at Maritime Planning Associates as a Software Engineer from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they are employed at MCR, LLC as an Application Engineer since September 2020.

Jim Abbiati's education history begins in 1989 at Thames Valley State Technical College, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Data Processing. From 1991 to 1995, they attended Charter Oak State College and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science. In 2004, Jim enrolled in the University of Maryland Global Campus and completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English, which they finished in 2006. Lastly, between 2008 and 2010, Jim pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing at National University.
