Luke Cordeiro Zito

Luke Cordeiro Zito has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Luke began their career as a Sandwich Artist at Subway from November 2008 to August 2012. Luke then worked as an Engineering Intern at Primary Flow Signal, Inc. for three months in 2013. From 2014 to 2015, they served as an Application/Controls Engineer at Burnell Controls, Inc.

In 2015, Luke joined ENGIE North America Inc. as a Junior Controls Engineer, where they designed and implemented direct digital control systems in various facilities. Luke also programmed controllers and conducted multi-vendor control system integration. In 2018, they were promoted to Project Manager/Senior Controls Engineer.

Luke's career then transitioned to the defense industry. Luke worked at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport from 2019 to 2022. Luke initially served as a Systems Engineer, responsible for various engineering tasks. In 2021, they were promoted to Branch Head, Supervisory Engineer.

In 2022, Luke joined the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) as a Program Analyst, a role they held until 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Technical Program Analyst at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. starting in July 2023.

Through their work experience, Luke demonstrated expertise in engineering, control systems, project management, and program analysis.

Luke Cordeiro Zito's education history begins in 2006, when they attended East Providence High School. Luke completed their high school education at this institution from 2006 to 2010.

After graduating from high school, Luke pursued higher education at Western New England University. Luke enrolled in 2010 and completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2014.

In 2020, Luke decided to further enhance their knowledge and skills by enrolling at the Naval Postgraduate School. Luke completed a Certificate in Systems Capability and Design in the field of Systems Engineering from 2020 to 2021.
