Matthew Seeger has extensive work experience in the legal field. Matthew currently serves as a CFIUS Risk Mitigation Attorney at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., where they negotiate, drafts, and advises on national security agreements in order to mitigate risks arising from foreign acquisitions of U.S. businesses or real estate. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as a Lawyer in the US Army for twenty years.
Matthew Seeger has a diverse educational background. In 1989, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from Harvard University. Matthew then pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from the University of California, Davis - School of Law between 1998 and 2001. After that, from 2009 to 2010, they attended The Judge Advocate General's School, U.S. Army, where they earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Military Law. Additionally, in 2013, they completed a Graduate program in National Security Studies at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
